PROJECT IDEAS

Here are some project ideas to get you started. For more ideas, refer to The Complete Book of Floorcloths or Painting Floorcloths: 20 Canvas Rugs to Stamp, Stencil, Sponge or Spatter in a Weekend.

Polka Dot Oval Placemats ... These colorful placemats will brighten your breakfast table. They are easy to make using Fredrix pre-primed and pre-cut placemats and the polka dot design requires minimal painting skill.

Mosaic Floorcloth ... This beautiful blue and white floorcloth is easy to make and gives the look of ancient mosaic tile. With a small sponge to stamp the tiles you will be amazed at how quickly the design takes shape. You can choose any of the Fredrix canvas to get started. (You may adapt the design to fit a different size if needed.)

Hydrangea Collage Floorcloth ... Using color copies and scrap wallpaper you can create your own version of this gorgeous floorcloth. This design requires no painting skill, instead it uses the age-old technique of collage and was featured on Discovery Channel's Home Matters. Check our website for the addition of this project and others in the near future.
